Hi Amanda!

Sorry I have not posted in forever. So I weighed in on Wednesday and I was back up, to 166.2 :-( Today marks the one year mark to my wedding, so I need to start losing!

Today I ate:

1 Kashi Pumpkin Spice Granola Bar (You are right, those are so good!)
1 Michelinas Lasagna frozen meal
1 bowl of chicken noodle soup from panera

I am going to eat a salad with chicken for dinner. I have never tried the lighter peanut butter before, but I will avoid it now! Have you ever tried almond butter? I have not but have heard of people using that.

I am going to join a gym this week near my house, bc I have not been exercising enough!

Yes, definitely catch up on the Jillian show. How did your weigh in go this week? I have not told Kel about the blog yet. We should probably tell her so that she does not get upset. Maybe after she comes back from her honeymoon though, I know she is leaving tomorrow (I am so jealous!) So are you and Chris definitely doing the Biggest Loser Ranch thing this year? If so, when will you go?

I don't think I am coming this summer bc I don't have a job yet, so limited moolah. I totally was thinking that we need to work out together at some point though! I can't wait to see you again at Lady Gaga! That is going to be epic!

Weekend-

Hey Kel!

I had a pretty good weekend, eating-wise. On Saturday I went out to lunch with my friend at Cheeseburger in Paradise and I got the island quesadilla with sweet potato chips- I didn't really calculate the point on it, but I'm guessing it was around 15 points for the meal. I wound up not eating anything the rest of the day, but that night I had a couple of bites of a chocolate chip cookie cake- (Chris and I went to the orchestra and stopped at Naked Chocolate before-hand... a tradition on our night out.)

Yesterday I went to a BBQ at Chris's boss' house and he made steak. I had two small pieces and some rice salad that he made. I also ate some garlic bread toasts and some dip I made with reduced fat sour cream. Last night when I got home I was starving so I had a light english muffin with some peanut butter. (I don't know whether you have ever tried the Better than Peanut Butter, but it's GROSS! I would rather use the points on real peanut butter.)

I cancelled my subscription to Weight Watchers online because I feel as though I'm not using it enough for the $15 a month. I'm going to go to the gym tonight when I get home and tomorrow I have Zumba, followed by Circuit Training and Line Dancing on Wednesday. I agree with the weigh-training. That's where I really start to look good. I need to lift more weights- and start running. I've decided I am going to run a 5 K this September, so I'm going to train for that-

I didn't see Jillian's new show- but now I'm dying too! I will check on Demand and then watch it this week so I'm all caught up. Are you coming out here at all this summer? I would love to see you and maybe we could take some classes together at my gym if you and Kelley want to come stay with me!
PS- have you told Kelley we're doing this together? I'm afraid she might think I'm trying to steal you or something, (sound familiar?)

Hi Amanda,

I can't believe that you teach in 100 degrees! Isn't that illegal or something? ha ha...it should be! It's okay that you gained, it's a new week, you can do it! Yoga sounds delish! I love yoga and pilates! Have you ever tried pilates?

So I lost on Wednesday when I weighed in, I was 162.6. I really did not do that well during the week, I am almost afraid I am just losing more muscle mass, bc of how poorly I ate on the weekend bc my friend was in town. I need to start to lift again. Maybe I can get Chris to go for a long walk with me tonight!

Today I have eaten:

1- 6 point portion of homemade mac and cheese
2- Kashi oatmeal and dark chocolate chip cookies
.5 points worth of jiffy kettle corn flavor popcorn

I am going to be good this weekend!! I would say try, but Jillian says that is planning to fail, ha ha. Did you see her new show this week? I thought it was pretty good. Not as good as the Biggest Loser, but good. I can't believe that Michael won, btw, good for him! I am so glad Koli was knocked off his high horse, ha ha. He did still win a lot of cash though!

A Good Couple of Days

So I weighed in this morning and I weighed-in at 173.5- So I'm up .2- Oh well!

I had a couple of good days- I find if I keep myself busier during the night I don't eat as much! I was going to work out tonight, but being in my classroom at 100 degrees all day made me feel like crap by the time I got home- I was so lethargic, I could hardly pick up Lily, so I didn't go to the gym- I went out and ran some much-needed errands though.

Tomorrow I start fresh again. I am going to try and hit up yoga tomorrow night at the gym if I can drag myself there after what they are calling "the hottest day of the year so far!"

Hi Amanda,

I did terrible this weekend as well. My friend was in town, and I tried by eating salads and stuff, but we drank at night, and ate a lot of junk food. I have been doing well today though, and hopefully I will still lose on Wednesday.

We should just both be so good for the rest of the week! I am going to go for a run tomorrow for sure. Tonight, I am going to the ball game (I think I might just have 1 hotdog there for dinner and call it 7 points), so I will do some crunches and planks when I come home.

It is a new, fresh week, and I know that we can do it! Great job on the workout, I agree, being sore is a good sign!

Have you ever seen the Lady Gaga/Beyonce Telephone music video? It is awesome! It makes we want to lose weight bc they are so sassy and hot in that video! ha ha
